Audrey Harris holds a Ph.D. in Hispanic languages and literatures from UCLA. She has taught classes in Latin American and Chicana/o literatures at UCLA and CSULA and has also taught with UCLA’s Prison Education Program. Her research focuses on 20th century transnational Mexican culture through literature and film, and on issues of social justice viewed through women’s cultural production. She is a translator of Amparo Dávila’s The Houseguest and Other Stories (New Directions).
