Daniel Haanwinckel is an Assistant Professor of Economics at UCLA. His research primarily focuses on the determinants of wages, unemployment, underemployment, and worker-firm sorting. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley in 2019 and also holds an M.A. in Economics from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica Rio de Janeiro.
