The Central Asia Workshop is hosting Stéphane A. Dudoignon, who is  a CNRS Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Turkish, Ottoman, Balkan and Central Asian Studies (a Combined Research Team of the CNRS, EHESS and Collège de France, in Paris).

The workshop is discussing a paper titled: "'They Were all from the Country:' The Revival and Politicization of Islam in the Lower Wakhsh River Valley of the Tajik SSR."
